Strike action will be held on several days through September to January
People are being urged to check the website at least 12 hours before their flight for the latest information in the event of any cancellation or delays. It comes following news of a Ground Handling strike at Alicante Airport.
The strike is supported by the security service and may mean potential congestion and delays. Jet2 said on their website: "We wanted to let you know that a Ground Handling strike action is taking place on the following dates listed below.READ MORE: 'Tearful' Coronation Street fans issue prediction after Peter Ash update
"This is supported by the security service at Alicante airport and this may mean potential congestion in security. It would be one hour in the morning from 8:45am to 9:45am local time and one hour in the evening from 18:00 to 19:00 between September 2023 to January 2024.
