The man forced the plane to make an emergency stop after his 'disgraceful' behaviour
A Jet2 passenger has been barred from the airline for life after claims he peed inside the cabin and displayed 'aggressive' behaviour which forced an emergency landing.
Jet2 say the man's behaviour included 'aggression, illicit consumption of alcohol, intimidation towards other customers and even children, suspected handling of illegal substances, and urinating inside the cabin', reports GlasgowLive.A spokesperson for the airline said: "After he was offloaded, customers had to disembark the aircraft in Faro so that the aircraft could be cleaned before departing to Tenerife.
The airline has confirmed that it will try to recover the cost the racked up as a result of the diversion, likely to be a five figure sum. These include hotel accommodation for all customers and crew, airport charges, fuel costs and cleaning costs.
