BREAKING: Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden have arrived at Westminster Hall to see the Queen lying in state.
It comes after the US President was spotted travelling through northIt passed along Ferry Lane, Tottenham Hale, surrounded by dozens of police motorbikes and other limousines.
Biden and his wife touched down in London ahead of the Queen’s funeral – and will attend along with around 500 heads of state. The prime ministers of Canada, Australia and New Zealand are already in the UK ahead of the first State Funeral in the UK since 1965 when Sir Winston Churchill was laid to rest.
Biden had been due to meet Prime Minister Liz Truss on Sunday, but the talks were cancelled on Saturday. A ‘full bilateral meeting’ was scheduled for Wednesday when the leaders are set to be in New York for the UN General Assembly.The couple touched down last night Got a story?
