'Jonnie Irwin changed our lives' say A Place In The Sun stars amid his cancer battle JonnieIrwin
Some former A Place in the Sun stars have credited cancer-stricken Jonnie Irwin for 'changing our lives'.
Linda, 57, and Andy, 69, decided to apply to be on the show after going to the A Place in the Sun exhibition in 2018, where they met Jonnie and his co-star, Jasmine Harman. Talking about Jonnie, Andy revealed that the presenter had made them feel "so comfortable" as he spoke about how they all "bounced off each other" during filming.
"I really had to hold back the tears. We’ve grown close to him, and even though we don’t get to see each other in person often we can’t imagine life without him."
