Joseph Parker announces surprise fight in Australia
for the first time in his clash with Joe Joyce.It was expected that Parker, now 31, would seek another big fight shortly afterwards.
He will surprisingly be boxing Opelu for the Commonwealth title – a belt traditionally pursued by boxers in the early stages of their careers.Parker said: “I’m very excited to be heading to Australia to headline a massive fight. “I look forward to the atmosphere from both the Aussie and Kiwi fight fans and I know everyone will be pumped to see two world class heavyweights go at it.
