The study shone a spotlight on big shortages of hospitals doctors, nurses and midwives in their thousands, while also criticising the lack of flexible working and access to hot food and drink during shifts.
‘They were so short-staffed in theatre that Reggie’s surgeon – he’s just had to have metal wires in his arm – couldn’t have a lunch break. And I just think credit to them, how amazing to keep doing your job when you’ve got all this in a crumbled system. We need to fix it for them, it’s not fair on them.’When asked how Reggie is doing now, Josie responded: ‘He’s really, really good and I can’t thank everybody in the NHS enough.
In a second post on her Instagram Story, she posted a picture of the youngster as Iron Man, stating: ‘Reggie-James is Iron Man.’
