Josie Gibson has reacted to the news that Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley are the new permanent hosts on ITV's This Morning, revealing she's going to throw a 'welcome party'
Josie Gibson has shared her thoughts on Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley being the new hosts This Morning. The duo have been unveiled as the permanent presenters of the ITV show, and will make their debut next month.
After months of speculation and several different guest hosts fronting This Morning, it was revealed that ITV have chosen Ben, 49, and Cat, 47, as the show's new presenting duo. The happy news was shared on 16 February. Alison, 49, will continue to host This Morning every Friday alongside co-star Dermot O'Leary, 50. Ben and Cat will front the show Monday through until Thursday from March.
He added: “For the last ten years I’ve been waking up with our ITV daytime audience on GMB and I now look forward to spending time with Cat, welcoming the viewers home after the school run or from their early morning routines, with a cup of tea and a mix of everything that makes This Morning so loved.”
