Judge rules Netflix can be sued for defamation over its hit series The Queen's Gambit
A judge has ruled that Nona Gaprindashvili, 80, can sue Netflix for defamation after the series claimed she had never competed against men. The Soviet chess champion claims Beth Harmon, a fictional character from The Queen's Gambit, is an Americanized and fictionalized version of her.
