Kate Ferdinand insisted “not all step mums are wicked” as she released a children’s book about blended families. The 32 year old, who is expecting another child with husband Rio Ferdinand in a matter of weeks, said she wanted to “change the narrative” about stepmothers with positive stories for youngsters.
The picture book, set in a magical forest full of birds and bugs, is about fairies Ash and Willow that live in a giant oak tree with their dad. They love baking and can't wait to enter the Busy Beetle Bake-Off, but everything changes when their dad introduces them to a new fairy, Hazel. This week, Kate revealed that her unborn baby is in breech position as she shared a pregnancy update on ITV’s Loose Women. A breech position is when the baby is lying bottom or feet first instead of head first.
