Good Morning Britain's Richard Madeley has returned from his break and comforted co-presenter Kate Garraway. The ITV hosts were discussing Richard's break and gave an update on Kate's husband.
Birmingham Live reports Kate gave an update on her husband Derek whilst live on the morning show. She revealed political advisor Derek nearly died from sepsis. She said: "Derek came out of hospital three weeks ago and we hadn't had any medical eruptions. Then we were on air and I got a phone call saying 'we are really worried'. He was just really unwell.
