Kaye Adams was forced to go off sick live on-air
Loose Women star Kaye Adams was forced to call in sick live on BBC Radio on Wednesday morning just half an hour before she was due to broadcast her own phone-in as she could barely speak.
"I might not even make the phone-in at this rate," Kaye told fellow show hosts Gary Robertson and Laura Maxwell as she was replaced last minute by Lucy Whyte and Laura McGhie. The pair even thought she was joking when they heard her broken and sore-sounding throat when she was forced to confirm it wasn't an act.
Despite Kaye's best attempts to continue for part of the show, which was due to kick off at 9am, it was clear she couldn't continue.
