Mr Justice Griffiths tells Kaylea's parents they caused her death by"shocking and prolonged neglect over lockdown."
"I do not accept that Alun Titford thought that Sarah Lloyd-Jones was looking after Kaylea well enough on her own. It was obvious that she was failing. He did not need to look at her legs to see that."Justice Griffiths tells Sarah Lloyd-Jones she was offered help from various services The court is also told that, though Kaylea's weight had increased since she was 13, she"did receive good care".He adds that Lloyd-Jones did not work while Titford did.Titford's work often"took him away from home", says his lawyer.
He adds that, in his police interview, Titford had acknowledged that:"It was the fault of me and Sarah [Lloyd-Jones]. I could and should have done more."
