It was a brutal session of Prime Minister's Questions
In what was set to be a brutal session of Prime Minister's Questions, Liz Truss faced tough questioning. The Prime Minister had previously sacked her ally and friend Kwasi Kwarteng as Chancellor and was forced to make major U-turns.
The Echo reports Ms Truss has received calls from furious Tory MPs and an avalanche of letters being handed in to Conservative backbench chairman Sir Graham Brady. A weak Liz Truss stepped out for another pummelling in the House of Commons on Wednesday October 19.
