📻 The 71-year-old presenter said “the time is right” for him to move to Greatest Hits Radio
Veteran broadcaster Ken Bruce is leaving BBC Radio 2 in March after 31 years of presenting the mid-morning weekday show.
He gained his first regular show on Radio 2 in 1984 on the Saturday Late Show, before taking over from Sir Terry Wogan to host the Radio 2 Breakfast Show the following year. He said: “Nothing stays the same forever and I have decided the time is right for me to move on from Radio 2 when I reach the end of my current contract in March. It’s been a tremendously happy time for me: I’ve made many friends and worked with many wonderful colleagues.
