A fresh approach to the autumn trench coat.
. Though the model returned to the runway for the Versace show in Milan, she has mostly been watching from the front row. There was perhaps no more apt place for Jenner to be photographed today than at The Row’s spring/summer 2024 show in Paris today, where she was spied attending for the first time as a fan.
While she’s modelled for everyone from Prada to Proenza Schouler, Jenner has never lent her likeness to the cult favourite label. But even though she hasn’t worked for The Row in a professional capacity, it does make up a large chunk of her personal wardrobe, from her sleek trousers to her much-loved Mary-Janes.
For the past few years, Jenner’s personal style has been distilled down to neutral colours, sleek silhouettes, and a lack of logos – The Row’s, in other words. While this is still the case, the model and tequila entrepreneur is beginning to edge out of her comfort zone. From blazing the pantless trail to experimenting with structured shoulders and leather corseting, Jenner is dabbling in a more elevated take on her fashion philosophy.’s show illustrates this shift perfectly.
The look was unexpected, yet still checked all of Kendall’s current boxes. As do several pieces from The Row’s spring/summer 2024 collection, including a draped, cape-like brown coat, a high-necked, drop-waist vermillion dress, and a black coat with wide lapels extending into a dramatic shoulder. Surely, if she stays on this track, Jenner will be seen wearing these very items in the not-so-distant future.
