Young people in Scotland have been urged to speak up if they suspect someone is carrying a weapon after the sentencing of 18-year-old Daniel Haig.

Youths in Scotland have been urged to speak up over violence after a teen killer who stabbed a schoolboy in the heart was jailed for life.

The charity also wants to see young people voice their concerns if they witness others engaging in other forms of violence. "We know that the vast majority of young people don't carry weapons and that gang violence in Glasgow and across Scotland has significantly reduced over the last two decades. However, there's no room for complacency. As is the case here, just one instance is too many.
