Kieran Maguire reveals reason Rangers won't be appointing 'excellent' Graham Potter - 'it's his personality'
Graham Potter is a ‘bad fit’ for the Rangers job because he requires time to implement his managerial style.that Rangers would need to be ‘patient’ if they chose Potter to succeed Michael Beale. Beale was sacked by the Glasgow Giants last Monday following a poor run of results in the Scottish Premiership and Europe League.
The former QPR boss had only been at Rangers for 10 months before being dismissed from his position at the club.Maguire believes Potter’s wage demands wouldn’t be an issue for Rangers, but insists that he is not the right profile of manager to help Rangers catch Celtic in a short space of time.“But as a fan of a club that he’s managed, I’m not sure that his personality traits, which are sort of very measured and reserved, would necessarily go down well with the Rangers fans.
