The former Celtic full-back found game-time hard to come by under Mikel Arteta in North London last season and the start of this campaign. He's now in La Liga with Real Sociedad on loan.
Steve Clarke is convinced Kieran Tierney can be EVEN BETTER for Scotland after clinching a loan move from Arsenal to Real Sociedad.
His future has now been resolved as he takes on a new lifestyle in Spain. He will ply his trade in La Liga and also play Champions League football. National team boss Clarke has hailed the move plus the level and league he will be playing in. The duo have spoken and he admits the defender is in a 'really good place' and hopes he can get some minutes under his belt before the squad meet up for the Euro qualifier in Cyprus and the home friendly with England at Hampden.
Dark Blues boss Clarke said: “It’s good for Kieran. It’s a good move. He’s going to a good league, a good standard and a fantastic life experience, first and foremost, and also a fantastic professional experience to play in La Liga and still has Champions League football with Real Sociedad.
