Well done, Poppa Nan
Nottingham schoolchildren have been treated to hand-knitted hats thanks to their class teacher and her nan. Miss Taylor, year five teacher and English lead at Whitegate Primary School in Clifton, and her nan - known as Poppa Nan - worked together so every youngster could receive a special warm winter hat amid the cold winter weather.
When Miss Taylor presented the hats to the youngsters, they were delighted. She said: "It was amazing that my nan could team up with me to provide this treat for the children, and the children and myself are very grateful to her. Whitegate school is part of Transform Trust, a multi-academy trust with kindness as one of its core, fundamental values that weaves into its everyday practice.
