Kind-hearted Chorley girl, 7, aiming for Christmas no. 1 with song raising funds for hospice

A Chorley schoolgirl has recorded her own charity single in the hope of raising money for poorly children.

Ruby said: "I’ve always liked singing and music, and I also love Christmas so I decided to put my favourite things together into song." She will perform the festive song on stage at the Chorley Christmas lights switch-on on Sunday.“I started writing the Christmas song last year and did it because I really want to make the children at Derian House happy for Christmas,” she continued.
