The King has honoured a promise his late mother made to Angela Kelly
The King has honoured a promise his late mother made to Angela that she would be granted a property for life as a thank you for her decades of service to the crown. Angela, 65, was recently photographed moving out of her Windsor cottage as she moves into lodgings provided by the King.
A source close to the palace said: "Angela wasn't everybody's cup of tea but nevertheless the King had no wish to see her homeless. I get the impression the King just didn't want to be living next door to her. However, some friends close to the fiery stylist felt she had been treated badly by the royal family and become a victim of the King's 'property merry-go-round'.
In response to a friend, she posted: "I'm moving to the Peak District just further on than Sheffield so not too far away from the family. My work phone has been disconnected but hopefully you have this one…Looking forward to my New Adventures."
