Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp on Alexis Mac Allister's red card after the 3-1 Premier League win against Bournemouth at Anfield
Jurgen Klopp has hinted Liverpool will consider appealing the sending-off that cut short Alexis Mac Allister’s home debut.
Neither VAR Paul Tierney nor assistant Constantine Hatzidakis saw any reason to instruct Bramall to review the decision on the pitchside monitor. But Klopp has questioned the red card with Liverpool now debating whether to lodge an appeal with the Football Association. “It’s a decision I think we can agree that if he gives a yellow card the VAR would not overturn it because the contact means there’s no clear and obvious mistake.
