Labour has accused SNP ministers of deleting WhatsApp messages relating to the covid pandemic on an "industrial scale".
She pledged that 14,000 unredacted WhatsApp communications would be shared with the inquiry by November 6 - but it is not clear how many other covid messages have already been lost. "Bereaved families were promised nothing less than full co-operation by the Scottish Government with both the UK and Scottish inquiries - yet they have been treated with disrespect.
"It is inconceivable that a former first minister would not understand the importance of that evidence. She added: "Ultimately it is the requirement with each individual to comply with the policy but recommendations and requirements were made very clear to everybody concerned.
