It comes after Rishi Sunak's disastrous so-called 'small boats week'
Sir Keir’s net approval rating stayed at +3 for a third week running, with Mr Sunak’s dropping a point to -24.
The Deltapoll survey showed a significantly higher lead than in many other opinion polls, although Labour have enjoyed roughly a 20-point lead for much of this year, suggesting the party is on course to win the next election. The lead is still far from the largest gap that Labour has enjoyed over the Tories – with multiple polls recording Labour leads of up to 36 points during Liz Truss’s short premiership, after the crisis caused by her botched mini-budget.
Deltapoll surveyed 1,520 adults in Great Britain between 17 and 21 August. The changes were against a previous poll carried out 9-11 August.
