Angela Rayner said that party has to 'give people hope for the future' by being “radical, realistic and responsible” if it wants to voters to back it.
Labour won't win the general election just by being "less c**p" than the Tories, its deputy leader has said.
She said: “I think part of the problem is that we’ve got to show we can be radical, realistic and responsible. I call them my three Rs. Rayner's Fringe appearance comes after she visited Prestonpans Labour Club on Wednesday, a manufacturing training college in Glasgow on Thursday morning and took part in a door-knocking session in Rutherglen and Hamilton West on Thursday afternoon.
