A worker for a Lanarkshire railway community charity group has been presented with an illustrious award at ScotRail’s Community Awards ceremony.

I was surprised to be nominated and even more so to win.
More than 1,000 people across the country volunteer on Scotland’s Railway, contributing to their local communities in a variety of different activities and projects – from community classes to station adopters.
