Lancashire actor Lee Ingleby currently stars in a new ITV show about one of the country’s most notorious killers – the Yorkshire Ripper.
Fellow prolific actor David Morrissey then plays DCS George Oldfield, the third detective chief superintendent to head up the case.
The rest of the cast includes Jack Deam , Katherine Kelly , Daniel Mays , Stephen Tompkinson , Jill Halfpenny , Steven Waddington , Rob James-Collier and Charley Webb .The Long Shadow is on between 9-10pm every Monday on ITV1. The first episode aired on September 25 so is available to watch on ITVX now.
