Parts of Heysham would also be in danger along with Glasson Dock and parts of Lancaster
A number of towns and key attractions across Lancashire could soon be submerged under water because of rising sea levels.
Sections of West Lancs would be impacted, including Burscough and Tarleton. Preston city centre would also be hit, with the docks submerged as well as land around the River Ribble, including Avenham Park and Lower Penwortham. Melting ice caps mean that up to 1.5 million UK properties face an increased risk of flooding by 2080 because of rising seas triggered by melting Arctic sea ice, MPs found in a report released earlier this month.
