Across Lancashire this weekend, temperatures could rise into the 20s, although it's not time to put your umbrella away just yet because some rain is forecast. Yesterday , across the country we were hit with high temperatures and some welcome sunshine after a very wet July.
On Sunday it's going to be a rainy start to the day before changing to cloudy at night. Looking at the forecast, rain is likely all day.If you're in Blackpool on Saturday, temperatures could reach 19C, however, it's going to be a cloudy day that will change to heavy rain by late morning. Between 11am and 12pm is when the heaviest downfall of rain is expected.
On Sunday, light showers will turn to partly cloudy by nighttime. Met Office forecasters have said temperatures as high as 18C could be recorded.Heavy rain on Saturday is becoming a theme across Lancashire as Lancaster will see rain all day with heavy downpours forecast from late morning. Despite it being wet, temperatures of 18C could be seen.
