The wall remains damaged, with debris visible across the cycle lane
The crash took place on Caton Road between Lake Enterprise Park and Mannin Way at around 8.20am this morning. Emergency services rushed to the scene and the road was closed in both directions.
A crew from North West Ambulance Service attended and treated three people at the scene. One person was taken to hospital, although their injuries are not thought to be serious.The road was closed for hours, and causing huge delays and queuing traffic in the area. The road has since fully reopened and the traffic has returned to normal.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "The RTC on Caton Road is a bus which has crashed into a wall. Happened at 8.19am. There don’t appear to be any major injuries."
