The yellow warning covers Blackburn, Burnley and part of Preston
A thunderstorm is set to hit parts of Lancashire this morning - with flooding and disruption expected.The weather experts have warned that the weather condition could cause 'causing some isolated flooding and disruption'. As a result, there is a chance of difficult driving conditions, road closures, power cuts and public transport cancellations.
In some places, there could be rain fall as much as 40 mm in an hour. A spokesperson for Met Office said: "Bands of heavy showers and thunderstorms will move quickly northwards this morning. Not everywhere will see these, but where they do occur, 20 to 30 mm of rain is possible within an hour, and perhaps as much as 40 mm in a few places.What to expect READ NEXT
