Good luck getting a reservation
When you land on the booking page for Secret Garden Glamping, you are met with a wall of numbered grey squares. Each square represents an 'unavailable' day, with the wildly-popular site hidden in West Lancashire woods fully booked for months.
It is the brainchild of genius local dad Derry Green, who has built nine themed pods. The DIY dad is currently living in dreamland at the rapid success of his idea, which is now worth millions. Today, nine units sits in several acres of woodland. and Derry has extended his team to 14 people, to help with the day-to-day running of the site, after it became too much on his own.
Next in the pipeline for Derry is the launch of The Wilderness Spa, The Wonderland, The Lookout and The Luxe which are set to feature plunge pools, hot tubs, saunas and huge outdoor glass seating areas. The Lodge The Lodge is secluded and quiet location and has its own sauna. There is a full en-suite with high speed WiFi, underfloor heating, a TV, Swedish bucket drop, private indoor and outdoor cooking and dining facilities and a Secret Garden Glamping staple - a fire pit.
The Glade The Glade is dubbed a 'girl's pink paradise' and id set down in the woodland and features flower walls and plenty of glamour.
