The two PCs will face a misconduct hearing this week in which they will face being sacked
Two police officers from Lancashire face being sacked after being accused of using excessive force while attending an incident.
PC Kelly is also accused of using behaviour and language towards a member of the public which was or could be perceived to be abusive, oppressive and offensive. PC McLachlan is then alleged to have entered false information regarding a charging decision on an internal document with the Crown Prosecution Service.The misconduct hearing will be heard in front of Paul Forster, the legally-qualified chair, along with Superintendent Claire Cooper-Moore and Mansoor Shah.
