A landlady in Penclawdd, Swansea, was left upset after receiving an anonymous letter criticizing her decision to put up Halloween decorations in her pub while 'atrocities' happen in Gaza.
A landlady burst into tears after a letter slammed her decision to put 'horrific' Halloween decorations up in her pub while 'atrocities' happen in Gaza . Heather Skipper picked up her post and was horrified to receive an anonymous letter blasting the spooky decor at The Royal Oak pub in Penclawdd , Swansea , on Thursday morning, October 26.
However, who believes her tormenter was referring to the situation in Gaza, had a firm message to the writer of the note, claiming her philosophy is 'if you've got nowt good to say keep your mouth shut'. "I've always done it and nobody once has ever complained. They've always said 'we love what you do'. I'm only a small little business and I just try my best and I want to make it fun. It's uplifting to see people smile. There's so much going on in the world that is bad, but Halloween is Halloween and it's for the children as well.
"I went to a cafe and everybody was so supportive. They said 'the decorations are great, do more'. I've got all the village behind me saying 'we'll all come down, make it bigger now'.
