The unexpected crossover between Tomb Raider and Call Of Duty could be a hint at the upcoming new game, or at least fans hope it is.
, but she’s only just now coming to Call Of Duty and the character model looks fantastic, with a great reinterpretation of her classic outfit – rather than anything from the reboot trilogy.
Activision hasn’t offered any explanation of which particular game her appearance is based on but since aAlthough nothing has been shown of the new game, which is being co-produced by Amazon, it has been described as combining elements from both the modern and original era games. Tomb Raider has a very loose continuity, and the implication seems to be that this will simplify things, while reintroducing elements from the older games that the more modern ones ignored.
Until the game is shown in public it’s impossible to tell what exactly they’re planning, but if this Call Of Duty operator ends up being a sign of things to come it already seems like it’s going in the right direction.
