🎓📚 Marking boycotts hold up students - but union says the university is to blame
Some University of Lincoln students are being prevented from graduating due to lecturers' marking boycott, according to an MP.
"I have constituents who have been studying at the University of Lincoln for the last three years, but the classification of their degree and their graduation are being prevented because lecturers who are union members are boycotting marking their final dissertations," she said. The University of Lincoln says:"We are confident students will not be disadvantaged by the industrial action and our academic schools and colleges are implementing local mitigation plans to minimise disruption to students from a marking and assessment boycott by UCU members.
