She's 'too good looking'
The comedian and Would I Lie to You star has been with Tara since meeting at university and says he has to put up with some people assuming it was his fame and fortune which attracted her to him. Lee and Tara married in 2005 and they have three children: Arlie, Louie and Millie.
Lee first shot to fame by winning So You Think You're Funny at the 1995 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The comic has since enjoyed a hugely successful TV and stand up career, including creating his own BBC sitcom Not Going Out. Lee said: “I’m there to represent every overweight dad who’s deluded and thinks he’s good. That’s what I represent. And no one does that better than me. I’m really deluded. I’m the best at being deluded, I am Champions League level of delusion.”
Lee added: “So I’m going to be asking Robbie, how I get ahead of the ball, whilst at the same time keeping my television career because when you’re as talentless as me, you rely a lot on your looks. So I’m the kind of person when they header the ball, I sort of scream a bit and go: ‘Ah not the face’ and so I need to get over that.”
