A missing person appeal has been launched following the disappearance of a Leeds teen.
Tanaka Chikuni was reported missing on July 12 and has not been found. Enquiries revealed the 15-year-old who is black, with short black hair, was seen in Leeds city centre with a group of youths on bikes around 9pm on Monday evening . The whereabouts of the teen is still unknown and police are conducting extensive searches. Officers are carrying out extensive enquiries to find him and would like to hear from anyone who has seen him or who has any information that could assist in tracing him.A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police confirmed: "Police are appealing for information to help trace a 15-year-old boy who is missing in Leeds. Tanaka Chikuni was reported missing on July 12 and there are concerns for his welfare.
"Enquiries have shown he was in Leeds city centre with other youths on bikes at about 9pm last night. He is described as black, 5ft 8ins tall with short black hair."
