There are a number of items you are not allowed to take into both the arena and festival site
Leeds and Reading Festival takes place over the bank holiday weekend with tens of thousands of people expected to descend on the site.
The annual festival takes place at Bramham Park in Leeds and Richfield Avenue in Reading from Friday, August 25 to Sunday 27. This year's headliners include Billie Elish, Sam Fender, The Killers, Foals and The 1975 with acts such as The Amazons, Wet Leg, Yard Act and The Snuts.However, those heading to either festival have been warned that there are a number of items they cannot bring into the arena or the campsite.
And as no receipts will be issued for any confiscated items it is best to make sure you know the rules and don't take in anything that is banned. There are also restrictions around the types of bags you can take and only bags A4 size or small will be allowed into the arena.
