Leeds United sit in the Championship play-off picture at international break
Leeds United's dismal defensive record plagued the last two years of their Premier League existence but Daniel Farke has worked his magic to address that problem area. Of course, there's the caveat that the Whites have dropped a level to the Championship and aren't going up against the likes of Manchester City and Pep Guardiola.
Jonny Cooper of Opta, pointed out the Whites are yet to concede a goal in open play in over 500 minutes of league football at Elland Road , which is their longest run at home since going 590 minutes without conceding in open play between January and June 2020 under Bielsa. The latest goal conceded against Bristol City was from a set-piece, which isn't deemed as being in open play. Kal Naismith's header cancelled out Daniel James' opener, but Joel Piroe was on hand to snatch all three points.
