Leeds view Meslier as a player with extremely high potential and a future starter for France, and so they are determined not to lose him for less than their £40million valuation. He has been everpresent for Leeds in the Premier League this season, appearing in all of their 30 league fixtures and keeping five clean sheets in the process.
Meslier initially joined Leeds on loan from Lorient in 2019/20 and forced his way into the side ahead of Kiko Casilla. He joined permanently following Leeds’ promotion to the Premier League and has remained their first-choice goalkeeper since.
