Leeds United were linked with a move for Leicester City's Thomas earlier this week
Leeds United-linked Luke Thomas will not be making a summer switch to Elland Road this week. The left-back has joined Sheffield United on a season-long loan deal after failing to play a minute for parent club Leicester City in the Championship this campaign so far.
"I had interest elsewhere at the time but then United came along and it was an easy decision like I say - a no brainer really. I can't wait to get going. Archer eventually signed at Bramall Lane for a reported fee of £18million. Leeds have made six summer signings so far, with Djed Spence arriving from Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday to strengthen the right-back role and that signing allows Leeds to focus their energy on signing a midfielder or two before the window shuts tomorrow night.
