Farewell, Mick 😊
Pilkington Bus, which operates throughout Hyndburn and beyond with school bus routes, said goodbye to their loyal colleague, Mick Crane from Oswaldtwistle. He took the decision to retire after 20 years service as a Pilkington driver.
Pilkington is a family firm that has been serving the local area for more than 50 years. It is headed up by husband-and-wife Alan and Vicky Pilkington, and their brother John Pilkington.They treat their staff as their extended family, and were sorry to see Mick retire with his wealth of experience. “We’re really sad to see Mick go, and I’m sure the passengers of Merlin Drive and Fern Gore will be too. We’re a big family team at Pilkington’s, and Mick has been a massive part of it for the past 20 years.”
