The actor who was recently announced as the final contestant in the BBC show has shared his health battles.
Les Dennis has opened up on his weight loss journey as the showbiz legend prepares for Strictly Come Dancing.
Six years ago, when Dennis was touring as part of the Addams Family musical cast, he was given an eye-opening diagnosis. In his first public role in 50 years, he played Uncle Fester, a character which required a lot of costume work. Following a check-up at the doctor, he was told he was pre-diabetic, which made him "take responsibility".
Not only does it benefit waistlines, studies have shown it can improve heart health and experts believe it could possibly "ward off dementia".
