The Ayrshire side are hoping to make it three wins in a row.

The Ayrshire side head to Perth searching for their third win in a row after victories over Livingston and Aberdeen.

And defender Mayo says Killie need to keep up that good run and they won’t be feeling sorry for managerless Saints – who have yet to win a cinch Premiership game this season and axed boss Steven MacLean on Sunday.“We’re on a bit of a high and they’re on a low, but there’s no space to feel sorry for anyone.

“We need to focus on getting ourselves right, go there full of confidence and do everything we can to get three points and keep up this form. “It’s important to string wins together and go on a run. When you look at the upcoming schedule it’s pretty congested. “It’s a good time to be in good form and have that kind of momentum. If you can go on a run then you’ll start creating gaps in the table.”“We were a threat going forward whilst containing them at the back.“That’s testament to the dirty jobs the boys are doing off the ball, they’ve got great players and we contained them.“Sitting fourth is fully merited I think, it’s the right end of the table and obviously where we want to be.it’s great that we’re in this position now.
