Liam Gallagher has deleted a series of tweets in which he used slurs generally used against disabled people.
Gallagher clearly grew frustrated during the match, and sent out a series of explicit tweets, including two in which he used ableist slurs.as a ‘m*ng,’ a word derived from the word ‘mongoloid,’ historically used as a vile insult towards people with Down’s Syndrome.
Minutes later, still angrily tweeting about the match, Gallagher wrote: ‘Even that scouse div with the s*** dreads get him on,’ seemingly referring to Trent Alexander-Arnold. Fans’ replies to the messages from Friday night also remain visible, with one furious follower throwing insults of his own to the musician for ‘using outdated terms for disabilities to insult footballers.’
