The party leader might be knocking on your door this afternoon/evening

“It is all really showing the environmental record here,” the party leader said.

Sir Davey highlighted how three Watford parks were voted within the top ten parks in Britain at the Green Flag People’s Choice Awards and praised improvements to the river, as he also enjoyed today's good weather.Commenting on the Liberal Democrat record in Watford he said: “We have been improving community services. I think people are more proud of Watford than they have been in a generation.

He added that environmental, economic, and community improvements “are not just down to the Liberal Democrats” but was proud to say “we take a role in that”. Going door-to-door campaigning was next on his schedule and he highlighted key issues for his campaign including three-in-four Hertfordshire anti-social behaviour reports not being attended by police.
