The Scottish Government was called on to take 'immediate action' to tackle long-running health inequalities across the country.
Average life expectancy in Scotland has dropped again amid fears the crisis in the NHS is costing lives.
Scottish Labour branded the figures "damning" and called for Michael Matheson, the Health Secretary, to take immediate action to prevent the figures from dropping further. "After 16 years of the SNP and 13 years of the Tories in government, both parties are failing Scots in the areas where it matters most.
