Closed for good - Price rises prove too much for Lincoln cafe
A Lincoln cafe owner has made the “heartbreaking” decision to close it permanently due to the escalating cost of living crisis.

Photo: Steve Smailes for The Lincolnite“We didn’t want to forfeit the quality and we didn’t want to be putting our prices up for customers which made it extremely difficult.
“It’s heartbreaking, but there are others worse off than us. It’s been one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make. Reflecting on the two years at Sizzling Griddle, Ian added: “We’ve enjoyed it immensely, seeing our customers enjoying the food we’ve served.”
