🍴 Lincoln's dining options just got a triple boost! Which will be your first stop?
Lincoln’s food and drink sector is set to welcome three high-profile chains to the city soon, with works at Turtle Bay, Five Guys and Mowgli Street Food all taking shape.
Over at the Central Market revamp, there will be a new Turtle Bay restaurant, while the upper High Street will welcome Mowgli Street Food and Brayford Wharf North will replace one burger chain with another.Turtle Bay will open inside the revamped and reimagined Lincoln Central Market this September. It promises the spirit and soul food of the Caribbean, along with tropical cocktails from its dedicated first-floor rum terrace, and will create 35 local jobs. Phil Dukelow, Operations Manager of Turtle Bay Lincoln, said: “We’re really excited to be bringing our Caribbean good times to Lincoln. We’re joining a fantastic part of the city and as our first restaurant in Lincolnshire we’re going to be pulling out all the stops!
Five Guys specialises in its customisable range of burgers and hot dogs – and much like Turtle Bay, it will be the first Lincolnshire restaurant in the brand’s arsenal. It will replace the skatewear shop Two Seasons and offer something completely different on the High Street, competing with other chains such as Fridays and Franco Manca for the premier food spot in that section of the city.
